Joan Zieger: Ladies of a Certain Mileage

Public Appearances

The LADIES OF A CERTAIN MILEAGE are simply delighted to be seen in public. When told they would be appearing several times this year, they couldn’t be contained. They giggled and fussed and laughed and worried and demanded a day at the spa. They were impossible to live with, until I dusted and pressed and straightened and labeled and prepared them to be seen by you.

Without you as their audience, it will be difficult keeping them home. They'll continue to fuss and to fume and to demand their "public" until they see you again. So I've listed the places they will be appearing with other new Ladies and new works of art, so we can all stay in touch.

The Ladies and other original works of art may be seen in the following locations with dates of public receptions noted.

By the way, in case you think the LADIES are just a bunch of pretty faces, they were chosen to appear in the Wisconsin Artist’s Biennial Art Show 2005, competing against artists throughout the state in all media.

They were THRILLED to be considered "real art"!
